ED 录取,去不去
Don’t even think about it. You have essentially signed a contract with Cornell. You agreed to go there if accepted. To back out would not reflect favorably on your character. I know that MIT would not accept you if they knew that you had gone back on your word and I suspect that Harvard and Stanford would do the same. There is no guarantee that you would be accepted anyway. Even with a “perfect record” and your award, the chance of getting in is about 1 in 4 unless your award is a math olympiad gold or silver medal in which case you would get in unless there was a problem. In fact, if you dropped this offer you might end up high and dry as Cornell wouldn’t take you back either. A diploma from one of these top 3 places is very valuable but not at the expense of your integrity. Just do well at Cornell and try for a graduate school spot at one of these places.
