课程设置：

Year 1

We will introduce you to key sociological ideas by studying the relationship between individuals and groups through examining examples such as:

l social change

l drug use

l race

l ethnicity

l gender

We also help you develop the key skills you need to study sociology and apply your knowledge to life outside the classroom.

You will study three compulsory courses in politics:

l Politics and International Relations 1A: Concepts and Debates and Politics

l Politics and International Relations 1B: The Global Dimension

l Political Thinkers (an introduction to political theory)

You will also choose one option course.

Year 2

You will study how sociologists produce and use theory (Sociology 2a) and research evidence (Sociology 2b).

Additionally you will study Comparative Politics in a Globalised World.

You will then choose three option courses, depending on your programme.

Year 3

You will study a mix of sociology and politics honours courses.

Year 4

You will study a mix of sociology and politics courses and complete a project in one of the disciplines.
