January 2017 start courses
We offer a wide range of full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses starting in January 2017. You can find a list of these courses here.
Fees for these courses are the same as those for September 2016 entry. We also offer scholarships to international students. Read more about opportunities and scholarships.
UDOL short courses
Professionals from around the world wanting to develop their career can benefit from a range of short courses being launched by University of Derby Online Learning (UDOL).
The five short courses, launched on 11 July 2016, include:
The courses are designed to provide professionals with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to fit around other commitments. All of which are professionally oriented and work-based allowing learners to immediately apply their knowledge to the workplace.

Withdrawal of BSc (Hons) Wellness Management
Unfortunately the above course is no longer running in September 2016, but will now commence in September 2017. If students are still looking to start in September 2016, we would alternatively recommend the BSc (Hons) International Spa Management course.
Don't forget our key dates for students this Autumn
We offer a meet and greet service at the start of each semester for our international students where we collect students from the airport. This service is free, but must be booked in advance.
Please do circulate this form for advanced bookings.
We are offering to pick students up from the following airports on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th September 2016.
- London Heathrow
- East Midlands
- Manchester
Please be aware that at 12 noon on Monday 5th September 2016 the form will be removed from the website so we will not be able to accept requests.
If students are starting a Masters degree at Buxton, please note that they will need to arrive by Tuesday 6 September.
Our student induction will be 10 September 2016 and our Autumn Semester starts on 12 September through to 9 December 2016 with exams running from 3 January to 13 January 2017.
