Strathclyde to Host International Mediation Tournament
Strathclyde Law School, home to the UK’s leading postgraduate programme in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, has been invited to host the 16th annual INADR International Law Student Mediation Tournament. The Tournament will bring law students from all over the world to Glasgow, underlining Strathclyde’s growing reputation as a centre of excellence for mediation practice and scholarship.

Foundation Skills in Restorative Practices
This Intensive Course offers participants the opportunity to learn the skills required to facilitate restorative conferences and circles. It includes training in the engagement and preparation of people who have been harmed and people responsible for harm, their supporters and the community.

Festive of Environmental Law & Governance

Professor Andre Nollkaemper, Dean and Professor of Public International Law, Amsterdam Law School, University of Amsterdam, will give a lecture on 'Sharing Responsibility in International Environmental Law: Fundamental Contradictions',on the 26th April 2017.

Algorithm Workshop
Professor Lilian Edwards, Course Director for Internet Law & Policy, organised an Algorithm Workshop on 27th February at the Technology Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde for the benefit of Internet Law and Policy Masters students, and Internet law Honours students, as well as invited guests from law, technology and business and public attendees. The event was a sell out with 300 attending and created much interest on social media.
