PEAP 1: Presessional English for Academic Purposes 1 (PEAP 1) is the first level of a 40-week course (PEAP 1-4). It is designed for lower level students (IELTS 4.0 or 4.5) who need a longer time to prepare. For Foundation students it will be the first module of a 30-week course (PEAP 1-3). |

PEAP 2: Presessional English for Academic Purposes 2 (PEAP 2) is the second level of the presessional course (PEAP 1-4) and runs for ten weeks. It is designed for lower level students (IELTS 5.0 or 5.5) who need a longer time to prepare. For Foundation students it will be the first module of a 20-week course (PEAP 2-3). |

PEAP 3: Presessional English for Academic Purposes 3 (PEAP 3) is the third level of the presessional course (PEAP 1-4) and runs for ten weeks. It is designed for higher level students (IELTS 5.5 or 6.0) who are close to their English language requirement. |

PEAP 4: Presessional English for Academic Purposes 4 (PEAP 4) is the final level of the presessional course (PEAP 1-4) and runs for ten weeks. It is designed for higher level students (IELTS 6.0 or higher) who are close to their English language requirement. |

|
|
PEAP 4 (5 weeks summer only): This course is designed for students who are very close to meeting the English language condition required by your chosen course of academic study. |

|
|
|
|
PEAP for Foundation Courses (10 weeks): This module has been designed to prepare students for entry onto a Foundation programme. It is a pathway for students planning to enter the Engineering Foundation Programme at the University of Nottingham. It is also suitable for students planning to enter a Foundation Programme at another institution. |

|
|
|
|
Presessional Academic Study Skills (PASS) is a 4-week course designed for students with unconditional offers for either a postgraduate or undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham (including study abroad students and Erasmus/Socrates students). |
