The School of Cinematic Arts is divided into seven divisions that work together to train the leaders, scholars and media makers of tomorrow.

Our interdisciplinary approach enables students, regardless of their chosen area of specialization, to take courses across our seven disciplines, without boundaries, in order to train fully-formed media makers, collaborators, and scholars situated to flourish in their chosen career path.

1. John C. Hench Division of Animation + Digital Arts 动画与数字

l概述

At the John C. Hench Division of Animation + Digital Arts, students explore every aspect of art in motion and learn why animation has become central to all modern digital media. The Division teaches courses in all facets of animation and digital arts. These include including classic character animation, 2-D and 3-D storytelling, performance capture, visual effects, motion graphics, stop-motion, experimental filmmaking, installations and multimedia, documentary animation, and visualizing scientific research. Students can explore collaborative projects with the interactive games division, production (live action) division, the Thornton School of Music, and the Kaufman School of Dance.
