UQ withdraws mandatory CDGDC requirement for students recruited by UQ agents
The University of Queensland (UQ) has decided to withdraw the mandatory requirement of CDGDC for Chinese applicants recruited through agents from non-211 Institutions, effective immediately.
The withdrawal of this requirement will have a positive impact on our agents and Chinese students when applying to UQ.
This change makes it even more important for agents to take care when verifying and certifying all transcripts and notorised documents when submitting applications to UQ International Admissions.
The CDGDC has been used by the Admissions team as a useful tool for confirming degrees where the student has studied at an affiliated college (the CDGDC confirms the University’s name to which the College is affiliated). The removal of the CDGDC process may mean that in some instances, UQ International Admissions staff may contact you for further information or clarification of this affiliation.
The University reserves the right to request a CDGDC from applicants where the degree-awarding power of their institution cannot be established by any other means.
