伦敦跨年烟花灯光秀

尽管英国政府所在的唐宁街为12月31日的跨年夜开了绿灯，但全球人气最高之一的伦敦跨年夜烟花仍被取消——伦敦市长Sadiq Khan也一直面临着越来越大的压力，这已经是伦敦传统跨年烟花表演连续第二年取消了。原本市长Sadiq Khan还宣布原本将在Trafalgar Square特拉法加广场举行一个6,500人的跨年派对，配有现场live音乐、舞台表演和种类繁多的食品摊位，以弥补今年跨年烟花活动再次取消的遗憾。结果，由于对迅速蔓延的Omicron新变种的担心，该活动也在12月20日被直接放弃了。然而，市长表示：跨年夜仍然是要庆祝的，只要保证所有人们的安全即可。因此，伦敦跨年将会进行一场精心策划的灯光烟花秀现场直播——该活动与去年的跨年夜活动类似，全新现场，超越去年更加壮观！
