校园生活：
1. 学校秋季是否还能如期开学？
As of now, yes, but we ask that everyone remain flexible. We may find it advantageous to adjust the academic year schedule in the interest of preserving as much of the student experience as possible. If any changes occur, they will be communicated to you in a timely manner.

We suggest waiting to book your airline tickets for now. We are planning on our regular opening date but it is possible that further updates from state, local, and federal authorities could change that. In addition, if it is advantageous to open the school year at a different time to maintain the integrity of our programs, then we will do so.

We have a number of single occupancy dorm rooms on campus, and this subject is something we are working on with our medical experts to create the best possible student experience. We will consider students who may be at higher risk or need a single room for health reasons. This is something we will address as we approach the opening of school.

Enhanced cleaning plans and protocols are being developed for all high-touch areas of campus through the work of the Steering Committee. We will provide further details as we move forward.

Absolutely. We are planning on various scenarios, and we want to make sure that international students can start the year and join their classes seamlessly. You do not need a visa to join our remote learning program. That will be part of the work of our Academic subgroup who will be working hard to get you answers on this matter.

Class sizes may change, depending on public health guidelines. Cushing class sizes are small to begin with, and some classroom spaces are bigger than others. We are planning for different scenarios.

3. AP考试
AP tests were all done remotely this year. Perhaps this will continue if it is necessary but hopefully next spring we will be in a very different situation and AP tests can continue as they did in previous years.

We are taking the possibility of this scenario very seriously and we are working to create a plan for testing, tracing, and treatment, as well as quarantine protocols. Our focus is on student health and the health of the entire Cushing campus community.

This is a possibility, but at this moment, we do not know. We are going to collect input from various medical professionals, members of the Department of Education, the Department of Public Health, and our medical team to develop an answer.

This scenario is something that we are looking into. With the overwhelming majority of students and most faculty living on campus, we are in an advantageous position to maintain a healthy community. We can continue to have many staff work from home as needed to dial back on interaction with students on a daily basis.

The Task Force is currently discussing training for our adult and student populations. We know that this is something that our entire community is going to have to buy into, but we also feel that the Cushing community is definitely capable of rising to the challenge. We do not want this to be a punitive process but we also want to make sure that the measures we take can be enforced.
