Ever since my high school years, I have been fascinated by the field of management. It all started when I came across Andy Grove's management experiences, particularly his discussion on strategic inflection points and the concept of being paranoid. As someone who has been exposed to traditional Chinese management styles, I found his insights to be precious.

During my undergraduate studies, I delved into various management courses, immersing myself in the knowledge and theories found in textbooks. I integrated these valuable insights into my daily life and developed a keen interest in finance, digitalization, and cross-cultural management. My high scores and rankings in advanced mathematics, information technology, and cross-cultural studies reflect my dedication to academia. In practical subjects, I excelled in applying professional skills through various assessments, such as essays, presentations, live Q&A sessions, and technical operations. Moreover, as a participant in a joint program between China and the UK, I have gained experience studying English and following the British curriculum, developing the adaptability necessary to thrive in the British learning environment.

During the summer of 2022, I had the opportunity to participate in a research project on corporate finance and accounting management, focusing on the timely topic of ESG. This project perfectly aligned with my interest in safeguarding workers' rights and ensuring social benefits. Throughout the project, I utilized my knowledge and practical skills, such as OSINT and GIS techniques, to collect data and analyze the comparability between ESG ratings and company strike situations. I also honed my academic writing skills and learned the importance of effective communication and reaching consensus with peers and supervisors.

学生在文书头脑风暴的环节，我们深入挖掘了相关素材：
1）专业兴趣部分：会计道德与治理-案例分析引出自己对于企业发展中金融会计重要性的思考；结合完成的论文思考现阶段的行业问题，反馈发现的问题，没有好的解决的方法，这个部分正是未来硕士阶段学习可以解决的问题；研究项目经历部分：重点补充每段经历的具体困难，解决方法、收获。

2）Why program及Why school的部分，Why School部分建议重点对专业research group、location、news/blog进行了解，找到学生与其相关领域的关联度。学术兴趣部分：可以参考本科课程与硕士课程有一定关联度的课程作为出发点，描述2者之间的关系，或通过学术会议、专业阅读、个人经历找到对专业兴趣的启发 可以为学校做出哪些贡献：可以从学术（课程相关性、实践经历相关性、技能储备的一致性）及非学术（多语言交流能力的优势、个人特长的优势、沟通及组织能力）2个层面分别去阐述。

学生积极配合提供相关素材，更进一步完善了文书的定稿，很快就投递了申请并且顺利拿到了诺丁汉大学的风险管理硕士录取！
