     　　荷兰应用科学大学(hogescholen)所开设的课程注重培养学生理论知识在实践中的运用能力。实习是整个教学计划有机的组成部分，学生通过实习获取实际工作经验。荷兰一共有42所 政府资助的应用科学大学。其中规模较大的共有2万到3万9千名在校生。这类学校的在校生人数总计约在37万人左右。荷兰应用科学大学联合会的网址是：www.hbo-raad.nl
