With my dual degree study at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (UM) and the The UM-SJTU Joint Institute (JI), I indulged in discovering my interests, strengths, and values for engineering. I am passionate about the field of dynamics and systems.
For over three months, I worked for over eight hours a day, I had the daily exhausting yet utmost rewarding experiences. My work eventually paid off that I become the co-author of a paper submitted to Physical Review Letters, and the co-author of a presentation to be delivered at Ascoustical Society of America on Dec. 2nd in 2019.
I have met so many people who do not come from a privileged background. I did not just read their writing, but also learned about their personal stories coming to college. I realized what equal education meant to them … … I have the responsibility to give back to the society using the best of my abilities and talents cultivated from the resources I enjoyed.
