　　Computational/Bioinformatic Genomic Analyst

　　University of Oxford - Radcliffe Department of Medicine

　　Radcliffe Department of Medicine, Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington, Oxford

　　A full-time fixed-term position is available until 31 March 2017 in the first instance, for an experienced computational/bioinformatic genomics analyst to be responsible for analysis of complex biological datasets involving next generation sequence data (RNA, DNA, Chip-Seq, ATAC-Seq). Funding has been provided through the Oxford Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).

　　This is an exciting project on the cutting edge of translational genomics and biomedical research. The postholder will work with a team of bioinformaticians based in the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine Computational Biology Research Group and the University of Oxford Computational Genomics Analysis and Training programme. The postholder will work closely with the laboratory of Professor Paresh Vyas.

　　You will have an MSc or PhD in bioinformatics, computational genomics, statistical genetics, software development or a similar scientific subject. You will have experience in analysis of high dimensional biological datasets, such as next-generation sequencing and datasets from other genomics platforms.
