You will need to submit the following when you apply:

4. Personal statement: Describe your reasons for applying to the Music Education M.A program at McGill University. Include qualifications, qualities or circumstances that are significant. Describe your research interests, your expectations of the program and your perception of your own strengths and weaknesses (PDF format, maximum size 5 MB).个人兴趣陈述
5. Curriculum Vitae (CV): An overview of your experience and other qualifications, including a summary of your teaching experience, employment, academic credentials, publications, honours, awards, contributions and significant achievements (PDF format, maximum size 5 MB).简历
6. Two recent essays (in English or French) of 1,500 words or more, preferably on music education topics and related research. Combine them into one file and upload to Written Work in your application (PDF format, maximum 8 MB).2篇论文。

The CBT is no longer being offered. CBT results will no longer be accepted as ETS no longer reports these results.
N.B. an institutional version of the TOEFL is not acceptable.
· IBT (Internet-Based Test): 86 overall, no less than 20 in each of the four component scores
· PBT (Paper-Based Test): 567
· IELTS (International English Language Testing System): a band score of 6.5 or greater (Academic module)
