国内许多院校都会开设这个专业，大多学生研究生的意向都为传媒方向。但英国的传媒学院很多课程都偏理论，他们会更青睐本科理论知识丰富且大多都有院校名单要求，该学生的优势在于学校背景为985/211，且均分不错，另外就是相比其他学生来说本科课程会偏理论一些。

The MA Digital Media: Education route explores the social and cultural dimensions of digital media in formal to informal
educational settings, in schools and beyond. Students engage critically with theories and research related to
meaning-making and digital media practices. We are, therefore, looking for students with a strong practical and social
interest in fresh approaches to literacy, popular culture and educational creative media practices in the digital age.
课程设置：
Students will learn concepts of digital media, media literacy, creativity, and popular culture, and how these are used by film
and media educators in global contexts. Theory and practice are linked throughout the degree; students will critically engage
with, and produce, creative media texts such as short films and blogs, working alongside UCL and British Film Institute
tutors.
Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits: two compulsory core modules, two optional modules, and a
Dissertation or shorter Report.
The degree includes two compulsory modules (30 credits each); two optional modules (30 credits each); a
20,000-word Dissertation (60 credits); or a 10,000-word Report (30 credits), allowing an additional 30-credit module.
Optional modules are also available from the IOE's English Education MA and Education and Technology MA subject to
availability.
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MA in Digital Media: Education.

The two compulsory modules are: Digital Media Theory and Digital Media Enquiry, addressing respectively, theories of the
media in society and providing training in research methodologies including textual analysis and ethnographic practice.

Moving Image Production (30 credits) is co-taught with the British Film Institute and covers practice in film-making in
education. Internet Cultures (30 credits) explores practice and theory in social media. Other modules in the MA Digital

The Masters in Film Studies is a unique and stimulating programme that allows you to explore central concepts in the
development of film theory and film-philosophy with an emphasis on European and American auteur cinema. Our students
engage seriously with the analysis of film and the history of cinema aesthetics and interpretation.
The programme will provide you with the analytical and critical tools for the investigation of individual films and the
opportunity to discuss these in relation to auteurs, film movements and genres as well as contexts of production and
reception.
Edinburgh is an ideal environment for the study of film as it is home to outstanding art-house cinemas, a lively cinephile
culture and the world-renowned Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Digital media today affect all aspects of everyday, professional and public life, and understanding its significance requires
interdisciplinary knowledge. Based at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies (CIM) at the University of Warwick,
the MA Programme in Digital Media and Culture is an advanced one-year postgraduate degree that addresses the role of
digital technologies, media, and infrastructures in relation to culture, economics, politics, and society.
Drawing on multiple disciplines, the degree supports critical approaches to key topics in digital culture, including
platformisation, participatory culture, media activism, digital labour and political economy, privacy and surveillance,
behavioural design, data critique, and environmental sustainability.
Our teaching combines theory, research methods, and creative practice. By selecting from a diverse offering of modules,
students will have, for instance, the opportunity to learn data analytics and visualisation, to engage with speculative design
and media art, and to discuss concepts in fields ranging from software studies to environmental humanities.
Based at a research centre promoting cutting-edge scholarship in these areas, our degree is primarily research-driven.
students will be encouraged to select their own path through the degree and contribute to the culture of CIM by attending
