最近大家都在陆陆续续的参加期末考试了，昨天晚上悉尼时间7点钟澳小土突然接到一个学生的紧急电话，事情是这样子的：这位同学在家里参加网上考试，结果家里突然断网了，一瞬间慌了神。今天，澳小土就来给正在期末考试的同学们讲讲期末考试遇到各种突发状况该如何处理？
通常，这种情况下同学们需要做的第一件事情，就是截图留下突发状况的证据，然后去跟学校申请Special Consideration。让我们来以悉尼大学为例，看看考试中在什么情况下可以申请Special Consideration？
什么情况下可以申请
Special Consideration
01考试前突然受伤或考试中突然生病
Short term illness or injury
这种情况下，你需要提供：
1) 医生的证明Professional Practitioner Certificate，悉尼大学对于这份certificate是有固定模板的，你去找医生的时候，医生需要帮你在这份模板上填写相关病例信息。
2) 医院出具的证明，需要在证明里指出你的生病状况对你考试的影响程度有多严重。
02家庭成员或者密友的突发不幸
Personal misadventure of a family member or close friend
这种情况下，你需要提供一份官方的陈述邮件，这份陈述邮件需要包含以下内容：Your statutory declaration should include:
1) Your full name and student number
2) A statement about the impact of the illness, injury, misadventure or essential commitment on your ability to attend classes, learn or complete assessment requirements
3) A statement describing the duration of this impact (including a start and end dates)
4) If your circumstances are of a sensitive nature, please indicate when you expect you will be able to complete your assessment or return to your studies. If you need more time at the end of this period, you can submit another application.
5) Details of any group work that might be affected.
03设备故障 Technical issue
这种情况下，你可以提供以下材料来支持你的SC申请：
1) Screenshot or photo of error with timestamp
2) Email from coordinator confirming the issue
3) ProctorU chat log with timestamp
4) Email to or from Canvas tests with timestamp
5) Shared Service Centre ticket.
04家庭成员或者挚友的去世
Death of a family member or close friend
这种情况下，你需要提供相关的葬礼通知，医院出具的死亡证明。
05其它
还有几种情况也是可以申请SC的，包括：
1) Unexpected primary carer responsibilities
2) Attendance at a funeral of a family member or close friend
3) Natural disaster

申请截止时间
学校对申请SC的截止时间也有要求：
No longer than three working days after (by 11.59pm Sydney local time on the third day)
1) The original assessment due date
2) The sitting date of the exam
3) The date of the missed class or missed placement

大家在申请SC的时候除了提供以上的Supporting Document，另外一份重要的材料就是一封清楚明了的Statement, 这封Statement的清晰程度也决定了你的SC是否会被批准。
