Slideroom是美国留学申请中常见的用以上传个人作品或其它材料的工具。主要是面向申请美国大学艺术设计领域的学生。绝大部分美国大学都会通过该媒介接收学生的个人作品（如CD、文档）及申请材料（如推荐信、PS、个人简历）等。
以卡耐基梅隆大学为例，具体说明上传流程：
通常这一步要求学生使用邮箱（163、QQ、gmail等皆可）。收到邮件后，系统会发送一个链接至您的邮箱；点击该链接即可进入学校对专业申请及条件的具体要求页面：
填写个人基本信息：Please create your SlideRoom profile
注：这里无具体注解，按照要求，“*”必填项即可进入下一步。
卡耐基梅隆大学规定申请者需选择5项专业领域，具体专业列表如下：

注：这一这位学生按照自己的兴趣爱好勾选即可，若专业并未显示在列表中，可选定“Other”项，填写自己需要的专业英文名称。
这里学校专业的具体文书要求，如下：
· 教育背景（Education）
List all institutions of highter education attended, starting with the most recent. Include: Institution, Dates attended, Area of Study, Grade Point Average, Degree, and Completion Date. （0-500字）
· 专业选择说明：Artist Statement（0-10000字）
· 个人简历：Please provide your professional resume.（0-50000字）
· PS：Provide a maximum 500 word statement of purpose that reveals an understanding of and interest in this particular M.F.A. curriculum.*（0-70000字）
· 推荐信要求3封：References（0-2000字/部分）
Please provide the name, address, email address and daytime phone number(s) of three references: PLEASE DO NOT SEND LETTERS!!! Your recommenders will be contacted if needed. (Please be aware that there is no link or additional forms sent out to recommenders. They will be contacted by email or phone if you are selected as a finalist.)
This program only accepts Images (up to 10MB each), Video (up to 500MB each), Audio (up to 60MB each) and PDFs (up to 20MB each).
