A1. a. The UK Visa Application Centres (VACs) across China are closed to the public and staff until 17 February due to Corona virus. These closures will be kept under review and UKVI may be required to extend the closures, as is appropriate.
b. As a result, customers in China are currently unable to complete visa applications for the UK and we are currently unable to confirm a definite date for reopening. We will keep customers informed as will our commercial partner, VFS Global. Please keep checking the VFS Global website:https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/cn/en/news/china-visa-application-centres-closure
For customers with applications that remain unresolved we will complete our processes as soon as possible once approval is given for the network to reopen. We are currently unable to provide an estimate for this as this will be informed by the continuing restrictions set by the Chinese authorities. Once our visa application centres are able to re-open, we will prioritise the return of documents and conclusion of applications for all those customers currently awaiting decisions. We recommend that those with imminent start dates for courses make contact with their educational institute to discuss options.
Q2. 现在疫情当前,是否会增加有关体检的内容?
A2. Besides the test for tuberculosis there are currently no additional checks required for an applicant to be considered for a UK visa. However, UK Visas & Immigration is working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care and others, to consider how we minimise the health risks to the UK. The UK has issued guidance for the public on the outbreak of coronavirus, the situation in the UK, and information about the virus and its symptoms. Q3. 已经预约却无法送签的同学,退费是怎样的流程?
A3. There is a link to refund in the confirmation email that the applicant would receive when the application submitted.
Q4. 2 月 17 日后若开放审理,审核周期预计多久?是否跟原来目标 15 个工作日有可预见的 区别?
A4. Although the China operation is currently severely disrupted, our published service standards remain in place globally.

A7. For outstanding applications in any category submitted before the restrictions imposed by the authorities in China, we will make every effort to conclude those applications as soon as possible once our network reopens.
