一、专业简介
艺术管理专业，顾名思义，是艺术与商业的交叉学科，结合了商业工具、沟通技巧和对艺术的理解，为希望在国内外公共、私人和非营利机构从事视觉艺术、表演艺术和艺术服务组织的学生设计。该项目开设跨学科课程，学生有机会与一系列在艺术界运作的国内和国际公司和非营利组织进行咨询和交流。
1. 学制及学位介绍：学制一般为两年制。美国专门开设艺术管理专业的院校不多，学位多为MA, 个别学校学位是MS。
2. 开设院校：没有固定的开设院校，有开设在教育学院，文化、教育和人类发展学院，音乐学院等。
3. 背景方面：无特殊先修课要求，专业领域相关，或者有艺术方面的志愿者或工作经验的申请人有优势。

三、就业方向
艺术管理专业毕业生可在艺术博物馆、表演艺术中心、音乐出版公司、舞蹈工作室、戏剧公司、歌剧公司、文化旅游、教育机构、艺术委员会和文化机构等各个不同领域就职。可担任艺术管理、展览策划人、票房经理等职位。

艺术管理专业文书要求举例：
SOP: A Statement of Purpose (no more than two pages, typed, single spaced) outlining your specific objectives for graduate study, and a description of how you have prepared yourself to achieve these goals. In addition, based on your research into our program, university, and city, what resources will be valuable for you? What will you give back?
A writing sample: Effective arts managers must engage in data-driven decision-making and analytical thinking, and the Arts Administration program aims to develop these core competencies in its students. We ask you submit a writing sample of 10-15 pages (double-spaced); ability to do research, and ability to think critically by synthesizing information. Examples of appropriate writing samples include, but are not limited to, undergraduate or graduate theses, research papers, or literature reviews. We ask you submit a writing sample of 10-15 pages; if the sample exceeds 15 pages, please select an excerpt. You may also submit 2 smaller papers to meet this page limit. All academic writing samples must be in English. Your sample should be written by you alone and represent your original work.

SOP: You are required to upload a typed, double-spaced, two- to three-page statement explaining your purpose in undertaking graduate study in this particular program as part of your application. This is your opportunity to introduce yourself and to inform the admissions committee about your goals, interests, and career plans as they relate to your intended academic pursuits.
佛罗里达州立大学
SOP: There is no required format or prompt for the Statement of Purpose. Most are 1-2 pages in length and discuss the applicant's background, career goals, and potential for success in the program. This may be formatted as a cover letter to accompany the Vita/Resume.
Professional Essay: Please discuss (in approximately 1 page) your assessment of the most pressing challenges facing non-profit arts organizations in the U.S. today. Include works cited page if appropriate. (PDF format preferred)
