一、 培养方向
1. 项目介绍
The Master of Science in Finance is an accelerated program that allows students to complete a graduate degree in 12 months, making them more marketable for finance careers. The program is open to graduating seniors of baccalaureate programs, as well as applicants who have already attained their bachelor’s degree or master’s degree; applicants who have earned or expect to earn a master’s degree in a related field could have some required courses waived.

马歇尔商学院的金融研究生项目是一个课程集中的项目，学生可以在12个月内完成所有课程，而且学生在金融职业道路上上也更加有竞争性。此项目对以下人群开放：即将毕业的大三学生、已经获得学士学位或者硕士学位的学生。对于那些已经获得相关领域的研究生学位的学生申请此项目可以免修一些课程。STEM项目。截止日期1.19，托福最低103，各小分要求20以上，明确要求有一封来自实习经历的推荐信，每年收到900个申请者的申请，录取比例8%。

More marketable: This program prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in finance and to understand the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment.

No waiting: Unlike an MBA program, there are no minimum years of work experience required.

Designed to offer a comprehensive foundation in finance and flexibility to pursue individual interests, the curriculum for the Master of Science in Finance includes 36 units, consisting of nine required courses and three elective courses.

2.2 核心课程
Core courses cover accounting, economics, finance and statistics. Students will learn linear algebra and probability theory and use Stata and Matlab programming languages. The foundation is supplemented with courses on the role of finance in corporations, investment analysis and portfolio theory, and forecasting and risk.
