UTS建筑与设计学院的bachelor of design in photography and situated media(摄影与场景媒体设计学士）在摄影艺术界一直享有盛誉，每年都吸引了众多欧美学生前来求学。学科导师这位学生与当地的设计组织和公司，保持紧密的联系。目前学院参与的重要当地的项目建设有：卡尔多公众艺术项目Kaldor Public Arts Projects 和澳大利亚当代艺术博物馆项目the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.

From Aut 2015 the course structure has changed.
The new Photography and Situated Media course structure provides increased disciplinary focus to the studio stream and a greater exposure to world class photo media facilities. The new subjects provide a much desired increase in the amount of contact hours with the Photography and Situated Media staff and a marked increase in the class time to develop major projects.
All other course details remain unchanged.
