美国研究生-公共事务申请要求-新东方前途出国

 

 1. 专业背景

对于申请者的专业背景无太多的要求，不论你学管理学、经济学、统计学、公共管理、公共政策、经济金融、国际关系，还是学历史、社会、教育、中文、新闻等等，都可以考虑。MPP专业则更加青睐数理、经济学基础、并且着重培养学生的分析能力，而MPA则更注重公共管理方面的知识。

不管是MPA还是MPP都注重的是学生有公益心，社会责任感，要有lasting commitment to public service。

 

2. 先修课

综合多个院校公共管理及公共政策项目的要求，常见的先修课的要求可以概括为

• 数学类，包括微积分，统计,  线性代数

• 经济学，包括微观经济学，宏观经济学

志愿者活动，国际化的工作或实习经验和经历，注重培养自己的组织协调能力，领导力，定量分析能力，以及政治素养。
