MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FINANCE CURRICULUM
In the Master of Science in Finance program, students choose from multiple focus areas and electives within an innovative curriculum designed for next generation finance professionals. Coursework integrates lectures, case studies, and experiential learning as it builds knowledge in both traditional and cutting-edge finance topics including behavioral finance, corporate finance, alternative investments, private equity and venture capital, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, real estate finance, and market microstructure.
DAYTIME SCHEDULE
Students who choose the daytime schedule of the Master of Science in Finance can complete the program in as little as 10 months consisting of a 3-week finance preparatory boot camp followed by four 7-week terms. Classes are held at the Coral Gables campus Monday through Thursday, providing students with time on Fridays for internships or career enhancement activities.
EVENING AND WEEKEND SCHEDULE
The evening and weekend schedule of the Master of Science in Finance provides the same curriculum as the daytime schedule. Students electing for the evening and weekend schedule can complete the program in 12 months, over the course of four semesters. Classes are held on the Coral Gables campus every other week, on Monday evenings and Saturdays, accommodating the schedule of working professionals.
