学校简介：
伦敦政治经济学院（英文名称 the London School of Economics and Political Science），简称伦敦经济
学院（缩写 LSE）或伦敦政经。创立于 1895 年，是英国久负盛名的世界公立研究型大学。与牛津大学、
剑桥大学、伦敦大学学院、帝国理工学院并称“G5 超级精英大学”，为伦敦大学联盟成员，也是英国金三
角名校和罗素大学集团成员。LSE 在社科学术界、金融界和政商界享有口碑。截止 2016 年，LSE 的校友及
教员之中包括 18 名诺贝尔奖得奖者、34 名政府或国家元首、31 名英国下议院议员及 42 名上议院议员。
在 2013 至 2017 年的 QS 世界大学排名中，LSE 在社会科学及管理学领域连续五年荣登世界第二，仅次于
哈佛大学。在 2011-2016 上海交大世界大学学术排名（ARWU）的社科领域中，LSE 均居欧洲第一位。 [3]

LSE 最负盛名的经济系根据学术界常用的蒂尔堡大学经济系排名为全球第四位（2013-2017），根据 QS 排
名亦为全球第五位，根据 ARWU 排名则为全球第八位，根据 US News 排名为全球第九，所有均为欧洲最
高。至 2016 年为止，27%的诺贝尔经济学奖被授予伦敦政经教授或校友（单独或共同获得），囊括了所有

An upper second class honours degree from a UK university or international equivalent in a
quantitative subject such as economics, maths, physics, engineering, finance or business.
Candidates' training must include at least a year of calculus and a semester of linear algebra

economists or Microeconomics for MSc F&E* and Macroeconomics for MSc F&E*.
Financial Economics examines investors' behaviour, market equilibrium, and asset pricing.
Financial Econometrics looks at the techniques of empirical investigation in economics and

finance.

To fulfil the programme requirements, students must also complete a dissertation of 6,000 words
on an agreed topic in one of the optional half-unit courses, and take an examination in the other.
