This should be around 10 pages long. You must demonstrate your understanding of human centred design, including your design process, the project outcome, and how you considered the end user’s experience. We encourage you to critically reflect on how you could improve your technique and project outcomes.
Service Design Innovation A 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification) in design, innovation, business, media, technology or a related subject. Applicants from non-design backgrounds must have achieved 55% or above in their final year.
爱丁堡艺术学院 Design Informatics MSc A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in computer science, informatics, artificial intelligence, physics, engineering, psychology, philosophy, linguistics, or neuroscience.

Your application should show evidence of solid computer programming skills in a programming language; HTML and web design do not count, but relevant mathematical and statistical scripting languages such as R and Matlab do. This evidence can be either a certificate in a relevant MOOC, or a course in programming that you have successfully passed. If your degree involves a final project, your mark in that project should be a B or higher.

Your personal statement should discuss why you are interested in the programme, as outlined above and on the Centre for Design Informatics web site, your background or interest in design, art, and information visualisation, and your relevant programming skills.
Design and Digital Media MSc Normally a UK 2:1 honours degree or its international equivalent. The subject discipline is not as important as aptitude and commitment to study in this area.

Evidence of prior practical design and/or technology experience, either as part of your undergraduate degree or for personal and professional projects, is one of the criteria that we use when considering applications, and this will normally be reflected in academic transcripts. We may also consider your application if you have equivalent professional experience; please contact us to check before you apply.

You must submit a portfolio as part of your application. Your portfolio should be a single PDF file. Please provide examples of your creative design and/or technology work to demonstrate your aptitude and commitment to working in this area, especially if your previous study is not primarily design and/or technology focused.

Examples of work can include images of your design work (e.g. illustration, graphic design, installations etc.), stills from and links to examples of your animations and motion graphics, application or website design and coding and other examples of interactive media. Make it clear which parts of the work you are responsible for and outline the context, processes and design thinking involved in producing the work.

For applicants without a design/technology-led degree, but with industry or other relevant experience, please outline your contribution to the development and delivery of design and digital projects.

As part of the application process, you must submit a personal statement and CV. You may also be asked to provide additional supporting material.
格拉斯哥艺术学院 DESIGN INNOVATION & INTERACTION DESIGN The way people today experience their environment and interact with others is often mediated through new technologies. The discipline of Interaction Design has emerged to ensure the delivery of these technologies enhances all aspects of modern society. Interaction Design at The Glasgow School of Art focuses on people, rather than technology. This Masters programme looks to tackle real-life problems by improving interaction and communication between stakeholders using a variety of methods.

The programme, taught at the school’s campus in the Scottish Highlands, promotes a hands-on approach to interaction design. Through live projects with an emphasis on collaborative working, you will develop an understanding of Interaction Design in complex environments and learn to analyse behaviours that inform the design process.
DESIGN INNOVATION & SERVICE DESIGN Founded in 1845, The Glasgow School of Art is one of the few remaining independent art schools in the UK. With a proven history of producing some of the world’s most influential and successful artists, designers and architects, the GSA’s studio-based
DESIGN INNOVATION & TRANSFORMATION DESIGN The Glasgow School of Art is one of the top public universities in Glasgow, United Kingdom. It is ranked #11 in QS WUR Ranking By Subject 2022.
DESIGN INNOVATION & COLLABORATIVE CREATIVITY This programme examines ways in which collaborative creativity can be used to help organisations change and innovate. The course offers ideal preparation for those who wish to apply for strategic roles in organisational and business development.

The MDes in Design Innovation and Collaborative Creativity recognises the need for design practitioners to work within teams whose role is to examine and address the future needs of citizens. You will develop methods to help organisations adopt a human-centred approach to reframing their working practices in order to better meet the needs of all stakeholders.
DESIGN INNOVATION & CITIZENSHIP The Masters in Design Innovation & Citizenship at The Glasgow School of Art explores the relationship between design practice and contemporary society and encourages a design-led critique of the present. The programme asks design practitioners to step beyond their traditional professional and occupational role and to consider the broader application of design practices, as a means of formulating and articulating social change.

In challenging the purpose, methods and ambitions of current design practice, you will identify opportunities for new design activity, pioneer innovative forms of engagement and collaborate with citizens to generate responses to emerging problems, political issues and social phenomena.
金斯顿大学 User Experience Design MSc A 2:1 or above honours degree or equivalent in art and design, computer science, or humanities. The most relevant undergraduate degrees are relevant to digital media – graphic design, communication design, interactive media, information technology – but also psychology, ethnography. The course attracts students with both BA and BSc degrees.
Possible weakness in the undergraduate degree may be compensated with relevant work experience, and other evidence that you are motivated and able to study at this level. This may be demonstrated both through qualifications and portfolios of work. If you have an online portfolio/PDF of design and digital work (and a description of your design process) we recommend this is included as a link in your personal statement.
Experience in digital media, user interface development and user interaction design is particularly valuable. Experience in an application domain (health care, business information, retail) is also relevant.
Exceptionally, applicants may have no first degree but more than five years working in information technology, the creative industries or humanities. In these circumstances, an online portfolio/PDF of design and digital work (and a description of your design process) should be included as a link in your personal statement.
      伦敦大学金史密斯学院 MA Computational
      Arts
You should have (or expect to be awarded) an undergraduate degree of at least upper second class standard in a relevant/related subject and a portfolio of work (supplied either as a DVD or a URL directing to a relevant web page).

You might also be considered for some programmes if you aren’t a graduate or your degree is in an unrelated field, but have relevant experience and can show that you have the ability to work at postgraduate level.

Do I need to know how to program in order to join this course?

Having a creative/art background is what we require and not necessarily a technical one. We want to work with people that have some arts practice and want to introduce computation in their work. In the past, we have had performers, film-makers, architects, musicians, painters and some computer scientists join the course. The majority of people on the course don't know how to program when they join us.

When people join us we try to assess their level of skill in order to offer them a challenging learning environment. People that have previous coding experience are encouraged to take more advanced modules and are given assignments in lab and to take home that push their technical and creative skills further.

We feel that this diversity of skills and backgrounds contributes to the course’s great success over the years.
      MSc User Experience
      Engineering
An undergraduate degree of at least upper second class standard in computing, psychology, design or related disciplines, and an interest in and capability for working in interdisciplinary contexts.

In exceptional circumstances, outstanding practitioners or individuals with strong commercial experience may be considered.
      MA Design: Expanded
      Practice15月)
You should have (or expect to be awarded) an undergraduate degree of at least upper second class in a relevant/related subject.

If you don't have a related undergraduate degree we also welcome those who have significant practical experience in a design-related field: you will be judged on the relevance of your previous work experience and on your art and/or design work. We will also consider applicants who do not have a design-related background but who have engaged in research either in academia (as students or academics) or at work.

We expect a high standard of achievement in design or other creative practice, and competencies in the use of equipment used to produce design work (IT and/or manufacture workshop skills).

You need to present, in portfolio and at interview, evidence of evolved critical and creative thinking in design.

Please see the How to Apply section for more information on the application process.
利兹大学 Design MA Documents and information you need

A copy of your degree certificate and transcripts, or a partial transcript if you’re still studying (please submit an official English translation if necessary)

Evidence of your English language qualifications, if English is not your first language

A personal statement in response to the questions asked in the supporting statement section of the application form, which explains why you wish to study this particular course and your career plans
