套磁信题目：一目了然
套磁信的题目，是决定老师会不会把你的邮件当做广告或垃圾的关键。一定要用最简短的话讲明最直接的目的。
一般题目可以是：Inquiry into PhD program in 2022Fall
邮件正文该有啥：五步走
并不建议邮件正文写的很多，因为教授时间有限，所以我们倡导简洁简短，基本上五六百字之内是比较可以接受的长篇幅了。
一般来讲天赐新的邮件内容分为五段，当然可以根据自己情况做合并或删减，适合自己的套磁信才是最强大的。
Part.1
寒暄+讲明来意
这是在照应你的邮件主题。第一段要清爽一些，不要有太多的字数，大概1句寒暄+1句自我介绍+1句讲来意。
例如
I am honored to send this email to you（寒暄）.My name is XXX, and I am doing my Master at XXX University, majoring in xxx, in specific,xxxx（自我介绍）. I write this email to apply for a 2022f all PhD position under your supervision（来意）.
然后下面可以根据具体的情况进行微调，这是个很简单的寒暄了，有的寒暄里可以根据实际情况啰嗦几句，比如：
1. 我听导师提起过您，我很向往跟您做研究。
2. 我在xxx杂志 论坛（任何一个专业性期刊或者学术会议能了解到这老师情况的都ok）上一直有关注您的研究，觉得都很赞。
3. 我读过您的某本书或文章（列举出具体的，真诚），印象很深刻，一直期待合作。
4. 一个骚操作，是一些学生们的一些建议：如果你套磁了一个A老师，结果他要退休了，同时推荐你去B老师那里；你在给B老师写信的时候，就可以说”A推荐我来的“，仿佛是大牛在推你，这样一来，B即便想忽视你，也会给些面子看一下你的邮件。
关于老师称呼，如果是 professor的就是用Prof.称呼，其他无论是副教授还是助理教授，一律用Dr.称呼。
Part.2
主要介绍自己：突出优势,扬长避短
邮件的第二段主要是介绍自己，突出一两个优势，然后指明你还附加了CV，详细了解请见CV。请注意，虽然是在自我介绍，但一定不宜过长，只写1-2个最大优点就好。比如比如GPA好，就强调GPA，做科研经历多，就强调科研经历丰富，实习棒，就说实际操作工作能力强：
During three years study, my GPA is X/4, and also I perform excellent both in X and X, from which I obtain a lot of experience. If you want to learn more, please find my CV in the attachment. 特别注意的是，还是建议根据具体的学校及老师做出微调
Part.3
过去研究介绍
仍旧不主张太多字。请用几句话讲明自己过往研究，并试图与他的研究靠拢，最后再适当吹捧一波你俩的适合度。你可能过去涉及到很多方面的研究，请选取与套磁老师最贴近的那个点。
Part.4
未来研究方向：
自己过去研究中与老师match的点+老师的兴趣点+研究的轻微延伸和拓展。
比如，我在做XXX研究的时候，发现了对xxx方面比较感兴趣，我打算以后从事xxx方面的研究（可以适当扩展说啊）我希望在您的指导下继续深造，因为我们的兴趣点很契合。

一个常见的模板
Dear Professor (Last Name),
My name is (Full Name), and I’m a graduate student at (University) where I major in (Degree Major). I’m graduating (Date). I would like to apply for a position on your Ph.D. program. I have a [GPA Score] and experience in our university’s [extra curriculum activities].
I am planning to attend a Ph.D. program with a focus on (subject). I first learned of your work from your article (article name). It was a great article and gave me a few ideas for my future research within the field. I particularly liked (something from the article).
I’ve been looking into various graduate programs where I can spend time delving further into this topic. The focal point of my project will likely be (project focus), and I am especially interested in exploring (Specific focus issue)
I’d like to inquire whether you’re accepting graduate students at this time. If so, would you be open to talking more via phone or email, or in person, about the possibility of joining your program? I’ve looked through your department’s website, and it seems complementary to my goals because of its focus on (department’s particular area(s) of research). However, I do have some questions about (question topic 1) and (question topic 2) that I’d like to talk to you about if possible.
