Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have been conditionally admitted to a four-year degree program at the University of Saskatchewan in the College of Arts & Science - Bachelor of Science Program. In 2016-2017 Term 1, classes begin in early September, 2016.
If you are unable to arrive before the first date of classes, you will be allowed to register up until the registration deadline in September 2016. Under no circumstances will you be permitted to begin Term 1 classes after this date. If you are unable to arrive in time to begin in September, we also welcome you to begin your studies in Term 2 beginning in early January 2017. Please consider this your official acceptance letter for both terms.
The University of Saskatchewan is committed to recruiting and retaining diverse and academically talented students. Because of your excellent academic achievement, we are pleased to offer you a Guaranteed Entrance Scholarship valued at $3000 when you attend the University of Saskatchewan this fall.
Your scholarship will be applied directly to your U of S student account for payment of your tuition and fees by the end of September. In order to be eligible, you must enrol in and complete a minimum of 18 credit units during the 2016 - 2017 academic year (Fall and Winter Terms) and you must arrange for your final, official high school transcript to be sent directly to the U of S by the approved issuing authority in your province or country. Any excess funds, after tuition and fees are paid, will be refunded to you by cheque in late October. The University reserves the right to adjust or retract a student award offer if the offer was based on erroneous information.
A conditional admission automatically converts to a full admission when all of the following condition(s) are met:
1. Upon arrival in Saskatoon, please come to Student Central in the Administration Building to present your original Senior Middle School Graduation Certificate and National Graduation Examination results to the International Recruitment & Admissions Office in order to avoid any delays in registration.
If you satisfy the conditions above, you are deemed to be fully admitted. A final acceptance letter will not be sent. If you fail to meet the conditions listed above, your acceptance for 2016-2017 Term 1 will be withdrawn.
You should be aware that your admission is conditional upon your supplying these documents before September 30, 2016. The University reserves the right to disallow registration in any further classes for students who have not met the conditions associated with their admission. In the event that we need to correspond further with you on this matter, please keep this office informed of any change in your current address.
