The Consulate General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Shanghai is currently looking for candidates for the position of Office Assistant to Consul General.
1. Checking the official email account of the Mission everyday
2. Faxing/emailing documents
3. Maintaining filing system
4. Maintaining official diary and appointments of Consul General
5. Assisting Consul General in organizing meetings and events
6. Liaising with relevant Chinese governments and non-government institutions.
7. Duties related to education and culture
8. Duties related to protocol assistance
9. Duties related to administrative work
10. Coordination of maintenance of Consulate General Office, official residence and other apartments of Home-based staff in consultation with property management company and relevant real-estate companies.
11. Any other work assigned by Consul General
1. Education:Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university.
2. Language:Proficiency in English and Chinese (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
3. Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in all of the following areas:
Experience in performing general administrative duties
Experience in event planning and management
Experience in providing translation and interpretation of English and Chinese.
4. Abilities/skills：Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools, including Word, Excel and PPT, etc.
Ability to work independently and effectively to achieve objectives.
5. Personality:Proactive, reliable, committed, independent, flexibility and adaptable to multi-tasking and high-pressed environment.
