首先弄清楚“年度体检”用英语如何说。在口语当中，我们有多种说法，比如the physical; the annual checkup; the yearly exam; the annual exam。我自己比较顺口的说法是annual physical。另外也可以叫做Wellness Check。
其次要找到医生。一般来说保险公司的官网都会提供选项。可以根据自己的需求在官网进行寻找。
最后就是电话预约，可以询问以下问题：

体检
Health history健康史
体检通常是询问病史（medical history）开始，一般是是护士过来询问，内容包括过敏、既往手术或症状（any allergies, past surgeries, or symptoms）。也会询问生活习惯，包括是否运动，抽烟，喝酒（if you exercise, smoke, or drink alcohol）
Vital sign checks生命体征检查
这包括测血压，心率和呼吸频率（taking a blood pressure reading and checking your heart rate and respiratory rate）。
Visual exam目视检查
主要是直接观察身体是否有潜在的问题。包括：

腹部abdomen

肌肉骨骼系统，比如你的手和手腕musculoskeletal systems, such as your hands and wrists

Physical exams身体检查

Laboratory tests实验室检查
