M.A. in Global Communication
该课程是2005年开设的，毕业生工作领域涉猎M.A. in Global Communication graduates work in areas such as the media, education, the non-governmental sector, management and research.
该课程是理论和和实践相结合的课程In the program, we strongly believe in the combination of theory and practice and in educating critical thinkers. Our required courses focus on theoretical training in globalization and communication phenomena like global media flows, transnational migration, circulation of media formats and practices or social advocacy and new technologies. Our elective courses strengthen students’ practical skills related to communication practices in new technologies, public relations, journalism, or social advocacy, focusing on Hong Kong and China, seeing local issues through a global lens and vice versa. Students can now also choose to specialize in the streams Global Media or Social Change and Advocacy.
实习实践机会：field trips
internships 寒假期间，有严格的筛选机制，有学校老师进行面试，这个不占学分。
international study tours to Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, the Czech Republic, the UK and the USA. 国际考察团，一般是在每年学期的9月份宣布名单，1—2周的时间。一般是去台湾、韩国、新加坡、捷克、俄罗斯、英国、美国。

Our graduates have found employment in a broad range of fields such as journalism, NGO and intergovernmental organization work, PR, marketing, commerce, finance and education. Overall, critical thinking skills, knowledge, and experiences gained in the Global Communication program have provided them with the necessary tools to thrive in today’s competitive job market, and more importantly, to do so with informed knowledge of and respect for other cultures and lifestyles (see alumni voices).

M.A. in Journalism
课程年限：1年
课程目标：This programme is designed to provide both professional and academic training about journalism to people from a wide variety of background. We have flexible curriculum for both students with or without journalism training or working experience. Students graduating from universities not majoring in journalism and communication who nonetheless are interested in a career in journalism could learn the basic techniques and knowledge in the field. Working journalists who need to deal with the media could also benefit from the intellectual training so as to deepen their understanding of journalism.
雅思要求：托福79 雅思6.5
入学要求：Understanding of Chinese in either Cantonese or Putonghua is required. Required courses of the programme are accessible to both Cantonese and non-Cantonese speakers. There will also be enough elective classes for Cantonese and non-Cantonese speakers to choose.

MSc in New Media
课程年限：1年
课程目标：
1、to provide graduates with a broad understanding in communication theories and the application of such knowledge to the design and development of new media contents;
2、to provide graduates with a good understanding of the social, economic, cultural, legal, and other implications of new media
3、to prepare graduates to conduct content and audience research and apply this knowledge in designing strategic information campaigns using new media and giving out goal-directed recommendations
4、to provide graduates with a technical know-how through hands-on training in multimedia design and development, and
5、to enable graduates to apply creative multimedia applications to solve business problems in training, sales presentations, and to communicate with employees and customers.

M.S.Sc. in Advertising
课程情况：
The M.S.Sc. in Advertising is a one-year full time or two-year part-time taught programme that aims at training professionals at higher levels for the Hong Kong advertising and marketing communications industry. The curriculum is designed to help students acquire strategic, innovative, managerial, creative and analytic skills that are required of practitioners who plan, integrate and implement successful advertising and marketing communications campaigns and activities.

M.S.Sc. in Corporate Communication
This is a one-year full-time and two-year part-time programme. Full-time students will take 2 normal semesters while part-time students will need 4 normal semesters to complete a minimum of 24 units for graduation.
