舞蹈专业（Dance）主要研究舞蹈美学理论、历史、文化研究、教育观点等，开发舞蹈演员的表演、创作及理论研究潜能，培养能从事舞蹈相关工作的高端专业人才。
美国开设舞蹈专业的学校比较多，但是提供Master学位的学校目前大概有64所。
