MS in Materials Science and Engineering

3.申请截止时间：January 15 for fall admission and October 15 for spring admission. The early admission deadline for Cornell seniors is also October 15.
4.本科背景和GPA要求：The College of Engineering sets a minimum grade point average of 2.7 for admission. However, admission is based on the entire application, not on a fixed grade point cut off.An effort is made to interpret grades from schools other than Cornell on a comparable basis to Cornell undergraduate grades. The maximum GPA at Cornell is 4.3. Applicants from schools using other grading systems (for example, some schools outside of the United States) can report GPA scores on the Cornell basis, but should also report the original GPA, backed up by an official transcript.MS/PHD项目要求不低于3.3分，Meng项目最低要求2.7.

GRE: MSE does not have a minimum score; however, you must have taken the GRE within 5 years of applying. Typical GRE scores of qualified candidates are: quantitative (165), verbal (155), analytical (3.5).没有设定最低GRE分数要求，以往录取分数统计，建议GRE分数如下：GRE数学要求不低于165分，GRE阅读要求不低于155分，GRE写作不低于3.5
TOEFL (IBT Version): These minimum scores are a Graduate School Requirement that MUST be met: Writing: 20, Listening: 15, Reading: 20, Speaking: 22托福有单项要求，建议上100分会比较有竞争力，请注意。
