Entry Requirements
We are looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated students who are passionate about business, technology and data.
Academic Profile: The minimum entrance requirements are an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university or an overseas equivalent and a strong aptitude for quantitative analysis. Applicants are likely to have studied a range of degrees including business, engineering, computer science, economics, and psychology.
Career Aspirations: Focused on helping global companies and high-growth businesses use business analytics to tackle world-scale problems.
English Language Skills: Applicants whose first language is not English must be able to provide evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate. UCL’s preferred English language qualification is the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A ‘Good Level’ is required for the Business Analytics: i.e. an overall grade of 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.
Application Process: Qualifications are assessed only once an application has been submitted. The equivalency of overseas qualifications cannot be assessed unless a full application with all supporting documentation such as degree transcripts, references, etc. has already been submitted to UCL.

MSC ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Fees: Overseas - £29220
Entry: Minimum of 2:1 honours or equivalent in a relevant discipline.Together with the academic requirements, applicants normally must have: In excess of two years’ work experience.
Addition notes for applicants:
Although not an entry requirement, we are particularly interested in applicants who are able to start a business in the UK at the end of the programme. We have incubator facilities and/or funding available to high quality start-ups at the end of the programme (subject to status).
Pathways
Fintech – for students with a background in the financial services industry who intend to develop a fintech start-up, in the world’s financial and fintech capital.
Health Care – for students who intend to develop a health care based start-up in a University which boasts one of the world’s leading medical schools and Faculties of Life Sciences, Brain Sciences and Population Health Sciences, in the heart of London, where NHS innovation units and start-up accelerators are multiplying.
Retail and Consumer – for students who intend to develop consumer services and products in Europe’s leading capital of the fashion, design, video gaming, food, retail, advertising, media, education, publishing, music, and creative, industries.
Technology – for students who intend to develop high impact services and products which take advantage of emerging technologies or emerging business models enabled by technology (such as platforms).
Students select their chosen Pathway during Term 1, and it is taught in Term 2.

MSC FINANCE

Entry: Minimum of 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant discipline, 7.5, with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of an Upper Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised UK University, or the overseas equivalent from a recognised higher education institution, in the following disciplines: economics, finance, mathematics, mathematical economics, econometrics, economic theory, statistics, and all engineering programmes, or any combination of those mentioned. Degrees from other disciplines may be considered if the applicant has a background in mathematics or econometrics. Applicants who have not received their final undergraduate degree must be able to prove their current grade average is a 2:1 or equivalent. We will not consider applicants with a degree result lower than an upper second-class degree.
Online maths test
Should you reach the next stage of the application process, we would invite you to complete a short online maths test. Please note that you do not need to prepare for this in advance.
Interview
Applicants who meet the entry requirements, provide an appropriate professional statement, and pass the online maths test will be invited for an online interview via WePow.
Relevant work experience
Demonstration of an appropriate academic background is essential. Experience in the finance and finance-related sector is beneficial, but is not a pre-requisite. Applications with work experience in fields other than finance will be considered on their merits.
International profile
Applicants should highlight any international experience they have, including international exchanges, trips, internships, fluency in other languages, and/or interest in other cultures. These attributes would be advantageous because applicants are likely to be working in a highly diverse and international environment.
Documentation
We do not require GMAT/GRE scores, but students will need to pass a maths test provided by UCL to be eligible to receive a final admission letter.

MSC MANAGEMENT(Management pathway, Corporate and Finance pathways)

Entry: Minimum of 2:1 or equivalent in a relevant discipline, We do not require GMAT/GRE scores, but students are encouraged to include them if they feel their score will strengthen their application.
Entry Requirements
We look for students with drive, talent, intelligence, and vigour.
Academic profile. A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, in any subject. Applicants who have not received their final undergraduate degree must be able to prove their current grade average is a 2:1 or equivalent. We cannot consider applicants with a degree result lower than an upper second-class degree.
Applicants should highlight any international experience they have had, including international exchanges, trips, internships, fluency in other languages and/or interest in other cultures.
English Language skills. A (IELTS). A ‘Good Level’ is required for MSc in Management: i.e. an overall grade of 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.
Equivalency Requirements for Chinese Applicants. International students are required to have the equivalent of an upper second-class Bachelor’s degree to apply for the MSc in Management. For applicants from China, this is usually a minimum of a Bachelors degree with a final overall grade of B+, 85%, or a CGPA or 3.45/4.0.

f you meet the minimum requirement for this programme your application will move to stage 2. During stage 2 your application will be considered further and you may be emailed an interview invitation. You will have 7 working days to complete the online interview. Failure to do so will lead to your application being unsuccessful.
Stage 3 - Post interview selection

UCL aims to complete stages 1-3 within 8 weeks. Applicants who enter stage 4 may not receive a decision before August 2019.
