Perhaps the most stunning news to surprise film fans this week, actress Liu Yifei-starring Mulan will skip cinemas in North America to move to Disney Plus for a streaming premiere on Sept 4.

Audience will have to pay $29.99 to rent the movie on top of the streaming service's monthly subscription fee of $6.99. The total equals to around 257 yuan.
Disney+订阅用户需支付29.99美元才能观看这部电影。如果不是订阅用户，还需购买每月6.99美元的订阅费。这笔费用加起来，让这张“电影票”的最高价约合人民币257元。
But considering that most American families may buy four tickets for watching it together, the price seems fine for a family to lounge in their sofa to spend a relaxed weekend night.
但这个定价如从美国一家四口的“标配”来看，倒也还好。毕竟去看这场影片，也得买四张票，一张“网票”能换得一家人窝在沙发里度过一个慵懒的周末晚上，也还行。
But some foreign medias reported that Mulan will be shown in cinemas in territories where Disney Plus is not available. Many Chinese netizens look forward to see Mulan in domestic theaters, as the country's cinemas have reopened for around three weeks.
但目前也有部分外媒报道，称目前还未运营Disney+服务的国家和地区，《花木兰》将会在当地影院上映。鉴于国内影院已重开有三周，内地网友还是颇为期待能在《花木兰》播出后，在内地影院的大银幕上一睹为快。
Whether this wish could be fulfilled has remained as a mystery, however, other Disney film has confirmed to open across Chinese mainland theaters on Aug 19.

It is Onward, the 22nd animated feature from Pixar, the subsidiary of Walt Disney.
这就是《1/2的魔法》，迪士尼旗下皮克斯的第22部动画长片。
Onward has a very interesting setting. It's set in a suburban fantasy world, where is populated with elves, sprites, satyrs, cyclops, centaurs, gnomes and trolls, among other creatures from mythology, folklore, fables and fantasy fiction. But the magic, it turns out, has been disappearing from the world for years — it's nearly forgotten!

Now let's turn to the protagonists. Ian, a quiet 16-year-old elf, is bestowed a wizard's staff and spell to bring back his father, who died before he was born, so Ian and his fun-loving 19-year-old sibling, Barley (only his legs are brought to life as trailers show), can spend one more day with him. The magic goes awry, only half their dad is conjured, and the brothers go on a journey to find it there is still a little magic left out there to bring their father completely back.

For the fans who have seen Marvel films for a long time, they might be rejoiced to "reunite" with two major role starrers. Ian is voiced by Tom Holland, while Barley is voiced by Chris Pratt.

I interviewed director Dan Scanlon earlier this year. The story is inspired from his late father, who passed away when he was about a year old. Scanlon and his elder brother were raised in suburban Detroit by their single mom.

With such a heartwarming story, I believe Onward must be like most of Pixar's previous classics. It will make you laugh, burst into tears and also make you think. It's a movie that we can look forward to in the blockbusters-studded August.
温情脉脉如斯，我相信这部影片一定如皮克斯以往的佳作一般，有笑有泪，也能引人深思。在佳片如潮水般涌来的八月，这一部值得期待。
