而今年的申请季尤其值得关注——UCAS个人陈述改革进入第二年，牛津大学入学考试体系也迎来重大调整。

与此同时，中国学生申请英国本科的人数还在持续增长。

据UCAS最新数据，截至2026年6月30日，中国大陆申请英国本科的学生人数已经达到3.8万人，同比增长12.2%，创下历史新高。

申请人数上涨、规则变化叠加，今年的英本申请到底有哪些新变化？

01、个人陈述不再“自由发挥”，三道题考察更精准

相信关注英国本科申请的家长和同学都知道，UCAS个人陈述已经改了。

从2026入学季开始，传统的4000字符长文正式调整为三个结构化问题。

2027申请季是这一模式实施的第二年。

三道题分别围绕：

• 为什么想学习这个专业？

• 你的学习经历如何为专业学习做好准备？

• 除了学校教育，你还做了哪些准备？ 

表面上只是把一篇文章变成了三道题，但背后的申请逻辑其实发生了变化。

过去的个人陈述，很多学生习惯从兴趣故事、个人经历切入；现在，招生官更希望看到的是真实、具体的学术证据。

比如，你为什么对这个专业感兴趣？是否主动阅读过相关书籍？有没有参加学科竞赛、研究项目、线上课程？

再比如，过去的学习经历究竟给你带来了什么能力？

简单罗列“我参加过XX活动”已经不够，更重要的是说明这段经历与你申请的专业有什么关系。

此外，UCAS也进一步强化了对个人陈述真实性的关注，申请者需要确认内容由本人完成，并会进行相似度检测。

所以今年申请英国本科，文书最重要的不是“写得多漂亮”，而是：

写出真正属于自己的学术兴趣和经历。

02、牛津入学考试“大换血”，MAT、PAT、TSA退出

如果说个人陈述改革影响所有英国本科申请者，那么牛剑考试改革，则是今年冲院校的学生必须关注的重点。

从2027入学申请季开始，牛津大学全面调整入学考试体系，过去大家熟悉的MAT、PAT、TSA等考试退出舞台，转而采用UAT-UK体系下的标准化考试。

目前主要涉及三项：

ESAT：主要面向工程、自然科学等理工科方向，考察数学及相关科学学科能力。

TMUA：主要涉及数学、计算机、经济等专业。今年最大的变化之一，就是牛津正式加入TMUA体系，原本参加MAT的部分申请者将转向TMUA。

TARA：主要用于考察学术推理能力，包括批判性思维、问题解决以及学术写作等内容。

考试形式和考察方式都与过去存在明显区别。

目前公布的考试时间也非常集中：

ESAT：10月12-13日

TARA：10月14日

TMUA：10月15-16日

对于今年申请牛津相关专业的学生来说，考试准备时间已经非常有限。

03、2027英本申请，拼的已经不只是成绩

把今年的两项改革放在一起看，会发现英国本科申请正在出现一个明显趋势：

04、UCAS已经开放，现在应该做什么？

对于2027年申请英国本科的学生来说，9月是一个非常关键的节点。

一，尽快确定专业方向。

尤其是计算机、经济、工程、医学等热门专业，专业方向会直接影响后续课程准备和入学考试。

二，重新梳理个人陈述。

不要再套用过去的PS模板，围绕UCAS三个问题，把自己的学术兴趣、学习经历和专业探索重新组织起来。

三，参加入学考试的学生要抓紧。

特别是牛津今年考试体系变化较大，ESAT、TMUA、TARA均需要提前熟悉考试形式和题型。

四，别只盯着“申请截止日期”。

英国本科申请是一个持续准备的过程，越早明确方向，越有时间完善课程成绩、文书、入学考试和相关学术经历。
