MS in Applied Data Science
应用数据科学 硕士
芝加哥大学2024秋的新项目，应用数据科学，原身是SPS学院的分析学，后被划分到物理学部，23秋季更新名字为应用数据科学专业，隶属于数据科学学院。随着院系的变更，申请难度也逐渐增加。自从改名为应用数据科学后，以往偏BA方向的分析学不可避免地将会加强数据科学与分析教学内容，商科痕迹将进一步淡化，以DS项目为标准的话。应用数据科学提供了线下面对面教学（in-person）与线上教学（online）两种选择，只有线下教学可以获得OPT。
课程设置包括：（10门课 1-1.5年完成）
MSADS课程设置上分为基础非学分课程、核心课程、选修课程、 Capstone Project，其中，只有核心、选修以及项目是算学分的，学生需要分别完成6门核心、4门选修以及一个项目才能毕业。

先修课要求：
Your application contains a section on programming skills. Although applicants with limited skills in R or Python can and do get accepted into the program, the admissions committee values prior programming experience.
