美国休斯顿大学 (University of Houston) 药学院Meng lab课题组诚聘博士后 (Drug Delivery & Nanomedicine)
Postdoctoral Positions Available – Drug Delivery & Nanomedicine
Meng Lab | University of Houston College of Pharmacy
The Meng Lab at the University of Houston is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join an interdisciplinary research program at the interface of drug delivery, nanomedicine, gene therapy, and immunology.
Our lab focuses on the design and engineering of next-generation therapeutic delivery systems for the precise delivery of biomacromolecules, including nucleic acids and proteins, to modulate immune responses. Current research directions include developing innovative nanomedicine platforms for applications in cancer, autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and inflammatory disorders.
About the PI
Dr. Fanfei Meng joined the University of Houston in September 2025 as a Presidential Frontier Faculty Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacological and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He received postdoctoral training at Purdue University, focusing on nanoparticle engineering and immunotherapy.
The Meng Lab offers a collaborative and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on scientific rigor, creativity, and career development. Postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to develop independent research directions, publish in high-impact journals, and actively participate in grant writing and mentoring of graduate students.
Research Environment
The University of Houston is a Carnegie-designated R1 Tier 1 public research university and an active member of the Texas Medical Center (TMC) ecosystem, providing exceptional opportunities for translational research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Located in Houston, the fourth-largest city in the U.S., the university benefits from strong academic–industry partnerships and a vibrant scientific and cultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in drug delivery, pharmaceutical sciences, materials science, synthetic biology, immunology, biomolecular engineering, biomedical engineering, or related fields. Candidates with experience in nanoparticle synthesis, polymeric materials, gene/protein delivery, or immunological assays are particularly encouraged to apply.
Application process
Interested candidates should submit a single PDF containing:
-
A cover letter
-
A brief summary of past research accomplishments and future research interests
-
A curriculum vitae with a full list of publications
-
