Johns Hopkins University, Kennedy Krieger Institute Now Recruiting: Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Gene Therapy for NF1/Glioma
The Renyuan Bai lab at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Department of Neurosurgery, Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with strong training in molecular biology. Our research focuses on developing gene therapy strategies for NF1, using AAV, HSV, and other viral vectors, and integrating molecular, cellular, and translational approaches.
The ideal candidate should:
· Hold a Ph.D. or MD with experience in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or a related field
· Independently drive research projects, contribute original ideas, and work effectively within an interdisciplinary research environment.
· Designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, preparing manuscripts, and clearly communicating results in English.
· Preferably with hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, CRISPR, Western blotting, mammalian cell culture, and work with animal models.
Additional preferred qualifications include bioinformatics expertise.
