It is divided into six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. The corresponding proficiency and application scenarios for each level are as follows:

- Proficiency: Master basic vocabulary and grammar; can conduct simple communications such as greetings, self-introductions, ordering food, and asking for directions.
- Applications: Suitable for short trips to Spain and Latin America to handle minimalist daily scenarios; only serves as a benchmark to assess the outcomes of initial Spanish learning.
- A2 (Elementary Level)
- Proficiency: Can understand high-frequency daily phrases; independently handle basic daily tasks like shopping, opening a bank account, and seeing a doctor; can write simple notes.
- Applications: Enables independent free travel in Spanish-speaking countries; serves as a reference for a few entry-level Spanish-related service positions in China (e.g., scenic spot shopping guides).
- B1 (Intermediate Level)
- Proficiency: Can smoothly cope with daily and basic workplace scenarios; understand simple news and emails; engage in logical conversations.
- Applications: Meets the admission requirements for study abroad foundation programs in Spanish-speaking countries; serves as a hiring reference for entry-level clerical and customer service positions related to Spanish in China; allows for barrier-free long-term living in Spanish-speaking countries.
- B2 (Upper-Intermediate Level)
- Proficiency: Can understand complex topics (e.g., society, culture, work), participate in professional discussions, and write standardized business emails or essays.
- Applications: Satisfies the language admission requirements for most undergraduate programs in Spain and Latin America; is the mainstream hiring standard for Spanish-related positions in foreign enterprises at home (e.g., foreign trade specialists, translation assistants); competent for general Spanish business communications.
- C1 (Advanced Level)

- C2 (Mastery Level)
