The programme aims to equip students with:
- Comprehensive Knowledge in Engineering Management: Develop extensive expertise in engineering management, incorporating modern tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance problem-solving, decision making and the execution of projects focused on discovery and innovation;
- Advanced Managerial skills: Cultivate essential managerial skills, including behavioural, communication, and leadership abilities, facilitating an effective transition from the role of an engineer to that of an engineering manager;
- Integration of Engineering, Managerial, and Technological Knowledge: Enable students to integrate and apply engineering, managerial, and technological knowledge in the management of engineering projects, operations, products and services within engineering/manufacturing enterprises and departments;
- Innovation and Practical Implementation: empower students to generate innovative ideas, undertake engineering management projects and research, and utilize AI and other modern technologies to transform discoveries and innovative concepts into practical implementations.
