Application closing date for Term 1 2026 is now Monday 18 August 2025
We would like to share that we have received an overwhelming number of applications for EQI International Student Programs (ISP) for Term 1 2026. For this intake EQI has limited capacity for homestay placement in accredited schools. This strong demand reflects the exceptional popularity of Queensland state schools and the trust you continue to place in our programs - we thank you for your ongoing support.
To ensure we can continue delivering a high standard of service and support to students and families, all applications for Term 1 2026 must be submitted by close of business in your country on Monday 18 August 2025.
Please note:
Applications for Term 1 2026 submitted after this date will not be accepted.
Applications submitted before the deadline will be processed in line with our standard ISP Admissions process.
Applications for Term 1, 2026 that do not require accommodation and welfare arrangements will be accepted up to Friday, 19 September 2025.
What if I have a prospect student who needs an English pathway starting in January 2026? EQI High School Preparation English language centres continue to take applications up until Friday, 19 September 2025.
Why the early closure?
Agents asked us to be clear when there is a period of high demand and close applications sooner when necessary. This early closure is necessary to support students and families by reducing later application submissions for the peak Term 1 period when school and homestay capacity is limited, and visa processing times may be longer. With the added challenge of end-of-year holidays and office closures over Christmas and New Year, this arrangement ensures students are well-prepared and ready to commence their studies in Term 1 on time.
We encourage you to submit all applications as early as possible.
