The University of Sheffield has been ranked in the top 100 of the QS World University rankings 2026. We are 92nd in the world and 15th in the UK. This is a testament to the talent, passion, and hard work of our students, our staff, our alumni, and our wider community. It's an achievement we are proud to celebrate with you, our global community of alumni, agents, partners, staff, and current and prospective students. Our ranking reflects many things. Our world leading research which is changing lives and influencing policy. Our outstanding teaching which challenges and inspires our students. Our commitment to a more sustainable existence. And the international nature of our university, which is so important to Sheffield. At our core, we are a place where independent thinkers can come together in pursuit of a shared ambition. To ask bold questions, push boundaries, and make a difference. And that's what makes the University of Sheffield one of the best in the world.
