尽管他们看起来都是对比、比较的意思，但在评分标准里，Contrast的定义是Show differences. Set in opposition.，而Compare的定义是Examine two or more things. Identify similarities and differences.
有了思路之后，就是确定论点的时间了。 一个合适的论点必须具备的首要因素就是“有的可论”，比如"George Washington was the first president of the United States" “乔治·华盛顿是美国第一个总统“这个就不能称得上一个论点，因为它只是一个陈述事实的话，并不存在可以从不同的角度讨论的可能性。
另一个就是要具体、客观，比如“Die Hard is a great movie”《虎胆龙威》是一部好电影”这也不能算是一个论点，因为是否是好电影是一个主观的，不能被证明的观点。
