最新英国实习工作签证解答-新东方前途出国

英国签证与移民局(UKVI)于2014年4月6日开始实施新政，增加国际学生实习工作签证计划(International Student Internship Scheme ,ISIS)。 该政策下所有在英国获得本科，研究生或博士学位的学生均可将Tier 4学生签证转换成Tier 5短期工作签证，此类签证有效期为1年。

原文对于ISIS的叙说是：

This internship scheme will offer supernumerary work placements to (12 Months): Chinese students from the top 211 universities; Chinese graduates from UK universities (who will transfer from Tier 4 to Tier 5 GAE) and Chinese nationals (students and graduates) applying direct from China. Interns will spend time with large UK businesses looking to expand their Chinese presence and to grow their trade links with China.

英国政府推行一年制的 ISIS，主要原因是因为想提升英国当地大型企业当地与中国的贸易来往。有了 ISIS 这个项目，无疑大幅的提高了中国留学生留英实习的机会，以及大幅度的降低了中国留学生申请英国当地工作的难度。在这以前，中国留学生在毕业后找工作一直受到“欧盟优先”的工作限制，在 Tier 5 GAE 还有 ISIS 的落地后，不仅仅这种限制会取消了，ISIS 更是英国政府针对中国留学生提供的实习签证，无疑是增加了中国留学生跟其他地方的留学生的竞争力。
