接到学生家长的电话听说10月香港SAT要延期，于是登录大学理事会官网去查，就是延迟到10月11号，对早申请没有太大影响。但是过会又看到微信上有各种消息说要推迟到10月25日，觉得很不可思议和莫名其妙。亚洲只有香港推迟，有家长打电话到香港考评局，他们只是说事大学理事会决定的，也没有公开具体原因。至今大学理事会官网只是在不显眼的地方有更新香港考试信息，十月确实延期至10月25日。目前很多同学准备转战新加坡，台湾或是日本，这几个国家今天下午五点左右查的时候考位还比较充足。澳门目前已经没有考位。

很多家长坐不住了，急着要给孩子换考场，生怕成绩赶不上早申请。Ms.Bai来给大家分析一下吧。
大家关心的主要问题就是推迟到10月25日是否会对EA/ED造成影响?需要去其他国家考试吗?目前大家比较一致的观点是早申请会来不及，其实不一定，要具体看学校的政策了。
大家需要在commonapp注明10月有参加SAT考试，即使是参加10月25日的考试，成绩大约11月中旬出来，其实对于很多截止日期在11月15日的学校还是来得及的。Ms.Bai刚才有和一所学校的现任招生官确认，只要你在学校的截止日期前将commonapp提交，学校就会为你建立档案，SAT成绩晚到其实不影响录取。举个例子，比如学校截止日期是11月15日，其实等招生办的助理把每个学生的所有材料整理完整可能就到11月20日或者更往后的日期(如果申请人较多的话)，在这种情况下，招生官拿到你的申请应该是11月20日之后，即使你晚交成绩，其实学校根本不知道。你甚至在成绩出来的第一时刻发邮件或者传真给学校，这个非官方成绩也会放入你的档案，当然学校最终还要看官方正式成绩。
总结一下，10月25日香港考试对于很多截止日期在11月15日的学校影响不大，对于11月1日截止的学校，大家需要去官网确认，比如芝加哥大学虽然11月1日截止，但是还接受11月SAT的成绩，但是密歇根大学就比较严格，需要收到所有材料。

其实退一万步，目前国内早申请的形式严峻，SAT刷分，成绩单活动造假，大学非常谨慎，以至于在EA/ED阶段发的录取很少，大多数同学的offer还是在正常申请阶段拿到的。（文/Ms.Bai）
