单独把论文写作拿出来讲。因为中美教育的差异，学校的教学理念不同，所以对于每所学校给出的论文题目，中国的学生往往理解不了，想很久也想不出怎样下手。而且，美国的论文写作多是议论文形式，而中国的初中生并没有接触到这种写作形式，加上平时对事情的思考方式也并不相同，所以论文写作这个申请必须的技能的重要性要提上日程。需要让学生早一些理解一些概念，并且练习新的写作方式。
我这里以学生申请10所寄宿学校为例子。每所学校至少需要3篇小论文，1篇大论文。如果学生一周时间写完一所学校的4篇论文，那么写完10所学校论文的时间为：10周，也就是2个半月的时间。如果学生对论文写作没有概念，对学校问题背后的含义不了解的话，这后面申请的时间肯定是跟不上的。
