2014美国普申网文书题目浅析-新东方前途出国

     　计划2015年秋入学美国本科的同学们，今年的普申网已经可以注册并开始申请了。今天就和大家谈谈2015秋入学季的同学们需要准备的主文书的写作思路，希望可以给大家一些启发。

    　　主文书的题目是：The essay demonstrates your ability to write clearly and concisely on a selected topic and helps you distinguish yourself in your own voice. What do you want the readers of your application to know about you apart from courses, grades, and test scores? Choose the option that best helps you answer that question and write an essay of no more than 650 words, using the prompt to inspire and structure your response. Remember: 650 words is your limit, not your goal. Use the full range if you need it, but don't feel obligated to do so. (The application won't accept a response shorter than 250 words.)

    　　主文书的目的是表述除了你的课程、年级和成绩之外，你想告诉招生官的一些信息。选择最适合你的一个题目去写，字数不超过650字。650字是上限，而不是你的目标，也就是说，并不是写的越多越好，当然最少要写250字。

    　　Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

    　　有些学生是有一些很重要的背景和故事的人，而且你离开这个背景与故事就会不完整，如果你有这样的故事，分享你的故事。

    　　Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?

    　　描述你失败的事情或者时刻，这如何影响你，你从中获得了什么?

    　　Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?

    　　回想你挑战信仰或者观点的某一时刻，什么促使你这样做?如果重新回到那个时候，你还会那么做吗?

    　　Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?

    　　描述一个令你满意的地方或者环境。你在哪儿做了或者经历了什么，为何它对你是有意义的?

    　　Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

    　　描述在你的文化、社区、家庭范围之中的使你从孩童成长为成熟的人的正式或者非正式的成就或者事件

    　　Please write an essay (250-650 words) on the topic selected. You can type directly into the box, or you can paste text from another source.
