　　With clay and strings filling in my hands, people surrounded me asking “what are you doing?” “Did you make that beautiful bead by hand?” etc. Every time I thought about the challenges and successes I encountered during the formation of the club, I felt that what I could do might be small but it had the potential to be great! It encouraged me to do more and inspired me to take risks. How can I reach my potential in life without risks?

　　Since I came to America, an idea popped into to my mind one day because I wanted to introduce myself specially and build a closer relationship with my classmates. I chose to start a club because most clubs I belonged to seemed always to talk about what the members would do but we never really engaged in these activities. Honestly, I knew I was taking a risk. What if no one came? What if the club was not approved by the school, especially in the middle of the semester? Nevertheless, I was convinced that it deserved a try, since it might not only help myself to know more people but also help others be familiar with the culture of my home country and enjoyed activities in school. I went to the teachers in charge and class president time and time again for supports, advocating the advantages of my club, as well as designing posters as advertisements. Taking advantages of the holiday back to China, I bought the necessary materials and brought them to school. Through my persistence and solid proposal, the Craft club was approved.

　　Then the curtains unfolded and the party began. I explained the technique and demonstrate the technique to make Ceramic beads and bracelets. Some students thought it was too messy working with clay, and went away, but some became curious about my work and told me that it was awesome to make things with their own hands, even designing their own figures.
