DrYuetingSunreceivedadualbachelor'sdegreeinAutomotiveEngineeringandEconomicsfromTsinghuaUniversityin2010,followedbyaPh.D.inMechanicalEngineeringfromTsinghuain2015.HevisitedtheUniversityofCalifornia,SanDiegoasaresearchassistantin2013-14,andheldtheKCWongFellowshipattheUniversityofOxfordin2016-18andabriefpostdocbeforehemovedtoBirminghaminDec2019totakeuptheLecturerposition(UKAssistantProfessor).YuetingwasrecentlyawardedtheprestigiousUKRIFutureLeadersFellowshiptopioneerthefieldofnanofluidicenergyabsorptionofMOFs(exampleonNatureMaterials:https://www.nature.com/articles/s41563-021-00977-6)
