The Master of Arts and Master of Social Sciences (Combined) allows you to study a combination of postgraduate programs offered at UNSW Arts & Social Sciences.
By undertaking a double masters degree in arts and social sciences, you will broaden your knowledge by combining two complementary disciplines over two years of study.
Studying a range of interdisciplinary courses will expand your existing skills and knowledge in professionally relevant areas.

The Master of Public Relations and Advertising combines creative approaches with in-depth knowledge of the theory and research behind the planning and implementation of highly successful public relations and advertising strategies.

· MDIA5028 Critical Perspectives PR & Adv (6 UOC)
AND EITHER
Research Path (18 UOC)
· ARTS5100 Research Methods: Theory and Practice (6 UOC)
· MDIA5008 Media Research Project (12 UOC)*
If a student withdraws from the Research Path, the course ARTS5100 will be considered a prescribed elective.
* This course can only be taken in the final semester of enrollment, requires successful completion of at least 24 UOC and a minimum WAM of 75. Students must have completed or be concurrently enrolled in ARTS5100 and must obtain permission from the program authority.
